We are the unique crossing of the world’s phenomena once this way and never again, an experiment on the part of nature, as Hesse once said. It is the fact that we live in a rich, evolved world filled with forces that allows us to be so unique and choose our own paths (most sickening thing I’ve heard ever: being told we were created to praise God). The fact that science helps us understand these forces and what shapes our lives could not be more beautiful. There is nothing evil about it.
